Crawford County Land Reutilization Corporation Minutes October 23, 2024

The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Cindy Edwards at 3pm.

Present were Cindy Edwards, Barb McCullough, Jennifer Kuns, Landyn Hill, Eric Baldinger, Tim Ley, Doug
Weisenauer and Larry Schmidt.

Guests present were Sarah Herrle and Ashlea Shaw.

The minutes of the previous meeting was distributed for review, Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by
Cindy Edwards to approve the minutes with three spelling corrections, motion passed.

The financial report was reviewed by the committee. Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Tim Ley
to approve the Financial report, motion passed.

The Bills to be paid were reviewed. Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Eric Baldinger to pay the
bills, motion passed.

The Bank Reconciliation report was distributed for board member signatures.

Old Business;
Recent demo projects need further grading and are not considered finished.
Further information is needed for the Demo grant.

The gas station in New Washington is still under consideration. Information between our attorney and
the State about the liens against the property was discussed. Since the documents are due before our
next meeting, Jenmfer Kuns moved with a second by Eric Baldinger to proceed with the acquisition of
the gas Station if our attorney can negotiate an agreement with the State to a Transfer of the property
without financial obligations to the Land Bank concerning the liens against the property, motion passed.

New business;
The Land Bank did a presentation to the C U Lead group at the Crawford Partnership recently.
Potential future properties were discussed. Funding sources have diminished as well as the available
blighted homes.

The State Auditor will visit on November 12th at 2pm for an award presentation to the Land Bank.

Adjustments to the 2024 budget were discussed. Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Tim Ley to
adjust increase the legal expenses to $5,000, Decrease the Grant line and mowing line. Motion passed.

The annual financial report will need to be prepared next year by a new vendor if someone can be
contracted to do it.

There is no meeting in November so the next meeting will be December 18th at 3pm.

Eric Baldinger moved with a second by Larry Schmidt to adjourn, motion passed.
