Crawford County Land Reutilization Corporation minutes March 21, 2024
The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Cindy Edwards at 3pm.
Present were Jennifer Kuns, Barb McCullough, Cindy Edwards, Linda Horning Pitt. Kevin Meyers. Eric
Baldinger, Tim Ley, Doug Weisenauer and Bruce Truka.
Guests present were David Zak, Andrew Shock, Lyndon Hill and Oksana Kotkina
The minutes from the February 28th meeting was distributed for review. Barb McCullough pointed out
that the 343 S. East Street home in Galion will be a project for the Brownfield Grant. Tim Ley moved with
a second by Kevin Myers to approve the minutes with this clarification, motion passed.
The financial report was reviewed. Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Eric Baldinger to approve
the report, motion passed.
The bills to be paid were discussed, Eric Baldinger moved with a second by Kevin Myers to pay the bills,
motion passed.
The Bank Reconciliation report was distributed for board members review and signature.
Old Business;
The Board members submitted their annual Comprehensive Ethics acknowledgement signatures.
The Ethics complaint that was received at the January meeting and was tabled at our February meeting
came up for discussion. Tim Ley called for executive session seconded by Eric Baldinger, motion passed
and the guests left the room including Keven Myers. After some discussion those persons were asked to
return and Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by Tim Ley to come out of executive session, motion
passed.
Eric Baldinger moved with a second by Jennifer Kuns to accept the report form our legal council and
distribute the report without the necessity of the board to take additional action, motion passed with .
the abstaining of Kevin Myers and Bruce Truka.
Manager Barb McCullough gave an update on current projects and progress of Burgis and Niple.
Preparations for our annual audit will begin soon.
The next round of g:rant applications is due on April 1st.
New Business;
The Commissioners requested the Land Bank accept the properties on Norton Way and East Mary Street
next to the JFS building that the Land Bank Turned over to the commissioners several years ago. The
Land Bank took no action on the request.
The County Engineer requested the land Bank consider the disposal of property on Wyandot-Crawford
County line and US 30. After some discussion manager Barb McCullough said she would contact some
adjoining owners and bring it back to the board for further discussion.
The Board wishes to thank David Zak for the Partnerships recognition at the State of the Vision Banquet.
The next meeting will be on April 24th .
