May 26, 2021Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order via conference call by Chairwoman Cindy Edwards at 3pm.

Present on the call were Cindy Edwards, Jennifer Kuns, Bob Johnston, Kevin Myers, Jeff Reser, Tim Ley Doug Weisenauer and manager Barb McCullough.

Guests present were Linda Horning Pitt, Landon Hill, Eric Baldinger and John Rostash.

The minutes and financial reports were emailed prior to the meeting. Bob Johnston moved with a second by Tim Ley to approve the minutes, motion passed.

Kevin Myers moved with a second by Doug Weisenauer to approve the financial reports, motion passed.

Doug Weisenauer moved with a second by Tim Ley to pay the bills as presented, motion passed.

The Bank Reconciliation will be circulated at a later date for board member signature.

Old Business;
Manager Barb McCullough gave an update on the Phoenix Project. The home at 115 N Riblit Street in Galion has an end user applicant.

Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by Jeff Reser to approve the end user, for the 115 N Riblit property, motion passed.

New Business;
The National Land Bank Conference will be held virtually on June 17th from 10-12am.

The 2020 financial statement was reviewed. Kevin Myers moved with a second by Doug Weisenauer to approve the financial statement. Motion passed.

Manager Barb McCullough stated a request has been made for the land Bank to demolish a home on Railroad Street in Galion. The Board felt that this particular home was not a major detriment to the neighborhood and would not have a great positive impact on the surrounding homes if it were removed.

Applications will be received for future demolition consideration.

The board discussed the next meeting will be June 23rd in person at the commissioner’s office.

Jennifer Kuns moved with a second by Kevin Myers to adjourn, motion passed at 3:33pm.
